DCards

After conducting several interviews with seniors, a common theme emerged: their enjoyment of playing cards and pursuing their hobbies. We explored and generated new ideas based on initial prototypes. For instance, we developed five different iterations and tested them with older adults.

Due to the size and complexity of some designs, we opted for 3D printing to capture intricate details and refine the product. The final prototype, tested with users, met expectations, marking the completion of the design phase. We now have a product that is ergonomic and easy to use. Its curved shape ensures that other players cannot see the user’s cards, allowing them to stay engaged in the game without constantly holding the product.
